Brame Construction Spotlight
You wouldn't think while creating a website for a construction company you'd learn more about the heart behind the hands than what the hands have created, but that's exactly what happened when we started working for Gabriel Brame, owner of Brame Construction.
Really, this was an enlightening experience working for Gabe whose business is based in Radford, VA. Getting to see his passion for high-quality work alongside his desire for strong personal relationships with his clients was refreshing. We are happy to have built a website for a business that truly cares about the people they work for.
"We pride ourselves in establishing a personal relationship with customers to achieve greater levels of trust in our work. We're a people-centered business. We don't believe in treating you like a job, we believe in lasting relationships."
The process started with us sitting down with Gabe, asking a few questions, and listening a lot. We really enjoy our initial meetings with clients because it gives us valuable insight into the driving core of their business. For example: Brame Construction has everything to do with serving people through expertise, skill, and knowledge of construction.
Gabe already had a great logo created by the talented local designer, Jonathan Bowell, but he did need photos that would highlight some of his most recent work. This portion of the project was a great learning process for us. It tested our original plans and helped us examine how we partner with local photographers to give our clients the best possible images for their site. In the end we learned a lot.
After getting the photos, we organized the site trying different layouts, playing with different ways to showcase his images, and looking at ways to write the content. We eventually decided what organization worked best and really put things in their place.
What followed were multiple days of editing and looking over every aspect of the site. Checking for errors and what the overall feel would be is really important. We spend a lot of time engaging with our work so that we are confident in we hand over to the client.
We finalized the site, the images, the content, it got the go-ahead and what was left was to train Gabe so that he could be confident in operating his new website. Because we love creating high-quality affordable websites for small businesses and non-profits, we choose to hand over the keys at the end of the project.
Your website is now your own.

Whether it's for a homeowner or a volunteer project they feel led to be apart of, Brame construction is about being there for people in one of the best ways they can: high-quality, reliable construction. Overall, we learned a lot through creating this website and have been excited to launch it ever since we saw it start to take its final form!
To create, to bring something to life, to bring something engaging to people is what nineteen54 enjoys.
